Everyone seated here I believe has one common goal in mind to make heaven, but the reality is that where one’s soul ends in eternity is not determined by how much one wishes it, nor is it determined by one’s religious affiliations as in church denomination, not dependent on popular opinions or religious teachings or philosophy, but it’s based on what is written, and what is written be it spiritual or physical laws determines the outcome in every situation.
That’s why regardless of the church denomination you belong to, you need to Wake up, pay attention to what is written, verify and validate them, because the eternal security of your soul depends on it. Never allow your faith to lye in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God; 1 Corinthians 2vs 5
Most religious people are blinded, often carried away by sentiments and blinded by the spirit of religion, our church is the best church, our GO this our GO that.
How do you know a people who dwell darkness, while pretending they live in light.
They never verify and validate what they are taught, what they are told nor hear, they sink into the make belief hoping they will control the outcome. They seem to forget that whatever is written controls the outcome in every circumstances, and supersedes whatever opinions and emotional ideas they might have, down playing principles and undermining spiritual laws to their detriment.
There are laws and spiritual principles of life that can never be overturned by rhetoric’s, popular or democratic or majority of opinions, they are laws and spiritual principles of holiness.
Every belief system no matter how less or well formidable they are, always leave room to verify evidences with which opinions and decision can be made by an individual, but the challenge is that a lot of people always hinge their belief on what they are told, taught and some on superstitious belief, and some even on fairy tale, it’s a pity but this is the reality. (How many came here with writing notes? You are not hungry enough )
For the nominal man who is not spiritually inclined, one can understand, but for those in Christianity, they are only in church on Sundays, they are held bound by religion, were born into it, handed over to them by parents and have a belief system to work with, and have never for once bordered to find out for themselves, of the uncertainty they are faced with being where they are by faith, one wonders what will happen when they find themselves dead, and the eternity promised is not achieved. Who will they blame?
What are these laws and why are they the two most powerful principles on the earth and beyond? Romans 8 vs 2
- The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and the law of sin and of death governed by Lucifer
They are both expressions and representation of two most powerful kingdom on earth. The kingdom of light and The kingdom of darkness.
Represented by two key players on the stage of history, in the personality of Jesus Christ and Lucifer called Satan.
These laws are powerful,
- Because they transcend the boundaries of death and time, they are still effective even in eternity.
- Every other law expires the moment we walk past the jaws of death, but not these laws
- These laws have no respect for kings, titles, personally, religion, doctrines or philosophy. These laws are based on principles.
- The divide one belongs to, or you were affiliated to while on earth determines where your soul will end the moment you walk past the jaws of death.
- For these two kingdoms, there is no middle ground, you either belong to one, but you cannot belong to both.
Every human being operates under one of these laws, though they may not realize it, but your conscience is already telling you, what it is right now.
The contention between these two kingdoms has always been for the human soul.
Obvious fact is that flesh and blood cannot access either kingdom. Man must put on immortality, through the soul to access these kingdoms.
1 Corinthians 15 vs 50
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.
One of the most significant if not the most important of Christ resurrection besides destroying the works of Satan, is the unveiling of this law, this law is the secret to living the successful Christian life, have you ever wondered why some powerful men of God and Christians fail in spite of the high level of religiousism and the display of sanctimonious living that we see. They preach eloquently, display elegance in what appears as masked holiness, but are struggling with secret sin, all because they have not imbibed this law. There is no one that operates in this law that can be held bound in sin.
Without this law no one will achieve holy living, and we know that holiness is the prerequisite into God’s presence.
By strength shall no man prevail. Our sufficiency is not of us…. none of us posses the ability to defeat sin nature with our own will power or ability.
It’s the law that governs in the spirit realm, which is the spiritual world under the control of the rulership of God, through Christ Jesus and with the sole agent of change in the person of the Holy Spirit.
This law only comes into effect in the life of a genuinely born-again believer, who decides to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, whose spirit man is regenerated upon confessing Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior, and receives salvation as a gift, as the man’s sins are blotted out and completely forgiven. But Because we are not hungry enough spiritually we never take a dive to find out why the apostle were able to live the holy life
Isiah 44 vs 22
22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
Acts 3 vs 19
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
✓ As long as such a fellow surrenders to the authority of Jesus Christ, his spirit man is exposed to the influence of the Holy Spirit, who now impacts the man’s spirit with holiness and helps the man’s spirit to gain authority over the will power of the soul, teaches the man’s spirit the act of holiness, which help the man to conform and yields to the laws and obedience of Gods words and laws.
◦ 1 Corinthians 2 vs 11.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Gradually the spirit man is in control while the action of the flesh diminishes, such that flesh loses dominance as the man’s spirit takes charge and control of the will power of the soul.
For this law of the Spirit of life to be implemented, it requires a deliberate action of the man to sincerely cooperate with the Holy Spirit being in total surrender to Jesus Christ. This is when the fellow becomes a disciple.
Are you a disciple of Jesus Christ, or you are just practicing the act of religion being in Christianity and not in the Christian faith.
Visible way to know is the fruit the fellow now exhibits,
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
◦ The kingdom of light through the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus seeks to set men free from the bondage of sin, makes them holy and qualifies them to enter its kingdom. This law equips the one who accepts its principles enabling grace, that empowers and causes the regeneration of the human spirit through a cleansing process, leading to a total transformational experience of the persons heart, noticeable by others through the change in character or behaviours, because the conscience has been made tender from dead works of the flesh and carnality to recognize the things of the spirit of the almighty God who is holy, which gives life and helps the soul’s will to submit and respond to Gods laws.
How do you know this law is active in your life.?
The exhibition of the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance.
The fear of God (are you still harbouring evil in your heart?)
Love God’s presence and practices the act of creating an enabling atmosphere in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. (worship & prayers)
Committed to hearing and obeying God’s voice, words and commands. They find a place where they are committed to the service of God genuinely with open heart and joy.
The question had always been! can man truly be free from carnality and sin?
Just like asking, this question a few decades ago, can man truly fly? Back then the answer would have been NO.
So what changed, how come man and other heavier objects are able to fly now?
The advent of the laws of AERODYNAMICS changed everything.
The law of aerodynamics defeated the laws of gravity, this is what happened, but has it removed or erased the laws of gravity? NO
But so long as one abides in the principles of aerodynamics, the laws of gravity must give way.
Same thing happened with the laws of Spirit of life in Christ Jesus that sets us free from the law of sin and death.
Can any mortal man live above sin in this perverse world of evil?
The answer is a YES
Jesus Christ lived above sin, and any genuinely born-again believer who is holy spirit filled can.
Titus 2 vs 12
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
[ ] How is it possible to live above sin.?
Now you understand that the nature of sin is so powerful governed by the law of sin and death supervised by Satan himself.
No mortal man has the capacity to defeat sin in the flesh.
Notice that Jesus Christ is the only person who not only defeated sin, but he also defeated death and the devil. The question how come he succeeded while others failed? Sin was not found in HIM
◦ Why do we need to deal with the issues of sin?
God is not holding us accountable for the sin of Adam and Eve, like people make it seem, that they call it original sin, rather it is the nature of sin that we inherited from Adam and Eve, that we need to deal with, man is helpless , if God does not help him.
Tell me what strength man must fight against the devil, that hold man bound with the laws of sin and death.
This nature must be dealt with. For three reasons,
Firstly! sin nature creates a legal ground for the devil to have a foothold in our lives as human beings, John 8 vs 34, Satan had nothing in Jesus
secondly! So, we can have victory with our spiritual life over the flesh. It is our responsibility to deal with it, this is what God holds us accountable for. Ezekiel 18 vs 19 – 23, so we are not condemned.
Thirdly, no man will be able to achieve holiness, because the Holy Spirit of God cannot co- dwell with sin nature in man.
1 Peter 1 vs 15-16
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
How do I activate this law in my life?
Its all by faith in Jesus Christ? Who is He to you, the revelation of who you have of Jesus Christ determines how much you are willing to sacrifice to be His disciple, you cannot benefit from what you do not have regards for. He is the author of salvation, without Him, we will continue to live as slave to Satan under the yoke of sin.
Become conscious of the Kingdom principles, and live by it, find purpose and engage in duties that bring value that impacts life, the local church, humanity and your family. Stop living the competitive lifestyle that focuses on self, pride and arrogance. You are not of this world though you live in it. If you cannot Convince yourself, you cannot live the life of the man with the heavenly kingdom mentality.
Become a disciple. Define what you want out of being a believer in Christ, is heaven you gaol, then you must be ready to pay the price, the price is to strip yourself and surrender to Jesus Christ whole heartedly not in part, your finances, your personality, your will and your future, carry your cross daily.
Become a friend with the Holy Spirit: Create a space, an atmosphere for Him, in the place of prayer (don’t be the only one speaking, he too want to speak to you, develop listening heart), as you study wanting Him to explain, you must train your spirit man through baby steps like Joseph, be deliberate about it and sincere when you ask for an assignment.
The question is do you want to enter heaven when you walk past the jaws of death. Holiness is the prerequisite, operation in this law of the spirit of life In Christ Jesus is the secrete.
Its a deliberate walk
Its intentional, you must define what you want. Its a choice only you can make. Is your name in the book of life, success is when you kame it to the marriage supper of the Lamb

Oh, may I then in Him be found

Faultless to stand before the throne
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
