Rivers State correctional facilities are overcrowded, and many repentant prisoners are released without tools to rebuild their lives—fueling a devastating cycle of recidivism and insecurity.
Our Vision & Mission: At Ethan-Mercy Foundation, our vision is to see to the welfare of repented prisoners and restore their dignity. Since inception, we have partnered with correctional centers in Port Harcourt to counsel inmates, provide welfare items, and identify those genuinely repentant and willing to change.

ETHAN MERCY REHABILITATION & SKILLS ACQUISITION CENTER
A fully equipped center located at Abara Etche in Etche L.G.A, Port Harcourt in Rivers State, specifically designed to train only repented prisoners in marketable skills before they rejoin society. Capacity: 120 inmates per 6-month cycle = 240 beneficiaries yearly.
From timber selection and precision joinery to modern cabinet making and upholstery, trainees master marketable skills to construct residential and office furniture, doors, roofing frames, and bespoke interior woodworks.
Each trainee will graduate with starter packs, certification, and linkage to microcredit + business mentorship.
Designed to transform repented prisoners through moral reformation, practical workshop apprenticeship, starter toolkits, and structured business mentorship.
Physical conditioning, self-discipline, and foundational cognitive training (speaking, writing, reading, listening, and quantitative reasoning).
Specialized trade theory, blueprint reading, materials science, and daily hands-on workshop training under master craftsmen.
Real-world field placement with partnering manufacturing plants, construction contractors, and solar energy enterprises.
Award of certified credentials, starter artisan toolkits, and transition into our 90-day community mentorship network.
